I really like Zella Day! Love the retro dance vibe and her kind of gritty disco sound. I thought she was new to me but then I realized I saw her video for “I believe in miracles” with her dancing around her apartment in her underwear. Though that cover, though good, wasn’t as impressive to me as Crazy Train and Seven Nation Army.
The other songs on the playlist are originals, right?
That's awesome! I think it'll be fun to watch her grow and evolve as an artist. I don't think I've heard I Believe In Miracles, so I'm going to check it out. Thanks :)
"You Sexy Thing" is "I Believe in Miracles." I called it by the wrong lyric. I was surprised she has been around for so long already (her first album was when she was 17 and she's 28!). She seems to be able to tap into a wide variety of genres and exudes oodles of confidence and playfulness. The last 3 on your playlist were covers and you talked about covers in your piece so I thought maybe the others were covers but more obscure!:)

All originals except "You Sexy Thing"
